Mike was a fantastic coach to work with for my first triathlon, being a half Ironman. He was responsive and able to answer any of my questions. He helped me create my nutrition plan that I utilized during training as well as on race day. The workouts he made were very much tailored just for me and it showed on race day. Training with Mike as my coach was a great experience! I came in not having swam or cycled much with the goal of finishing an Ironman for my first every triathlon. With Mike’s guidance and programming, I was able to gain confidence in those disciplines while learning techniques and drills to greatly improve my form. He is highly insightful, motivating, encouraging, and understanding. Ultimately I crossed the Ironman finish line proud of the work we had done and owe it to Mike for getting me prepared for the 140.6!

I really enjoyed working with Mike, and would recommend him highly for anyone that is Ironman training. When we first connected, I had no triathlon experience and was a complete beginner for both biking and swimming. The weekly training plans he gave allowed me to ease into each sport but still feel prepared on race day for IM Lake Placid. We regularly touched base on how I felt the training was going, and he adapted to my busy work schedule. Mike also helped me adapt my nutrition plan to something that worked well for my body. Mike is an awesome coach to have in your corner!

I got on a call with Mike after signing up for my first Ironman. The workouts were constructed to my fitness level. He was there when I needed a push to remind me of why I started and took care of everyday workouts, providing feedback and encouraging comments. Finishing a full Ironman was literally beyond anything I thought possible. I'll forever appreciate and be in awe for Mike. I would highly recommend him to anyone who’s thinking about doing any race. When I first started my triathlon journey, I felt like I could go it alone and just do weekly workouts and structure them myself. At the time I was struggling to complete an olympic distance. I decided that some more structure would be needed if I ever wanted to complete my goal of racing a half ironman or even the insane ironman. I found Coach Mike and I was able to get my triathlon distance way down and even step on the podium. So thankful to him for helping me get to where I am now and grow even further.
